Don't know, but I'm guessing most of them were posted to the West Indies and died of Yellow Fever – I believe that was the norm in those days. Don't think I'll get the book though. |

I dunno. At least it is something different about 1815. Fun to go to Amazon today and look down to "People who bought this book also etc" to see what has been produced and it is still only 2014…….and thes are just a fraction. "The Aftermath" I am only half way through and only got it as I had to spend a book token. It has proved quite fascinating…..as was the Waterloo Legacy book. Unless we are reading something new about the various DBs, German Allies' role, any author has to get beyond Mt St Jean on 18th to find something novel to say about "The Hundred Days". |

"some of them died at New Orleans" Did they have a Tardis? |

@Jim Selzer; Not unless they were there on leave from the British West Indies possessions and caught Yellow Fever! New Orleans was in Jan. 1815; Waterloo in June 1815! |
