Very, very nice! What rules are these based for? A little different.

Beautiful paint jobs on those AB's – they hardly look like 15/18mm.

I know it gets said a lot, but it really is depressing for a 28mm guy when you see 18mm figs with better, finer detail. Especially love the hussar pelisses – is there a technique I should know about?

Very very nice.

Can I add to that? Just to agree. 18mm figures are almost always better proportioned. Heads are not exaggerated, hands do not dangle below the knee, legs are long enough to reach the ground. Hobbits are rare from Perrys (rare), Westafalia have avoided them. Foundry new releases show improved anatomy but some cavalry in the original range have right arms that are massive (whilst some are unbeatable).

With 28mm you do have to see them first, in almost any range, and decide if it bothers you. I know the argument is that they are designed to be viewed from above, on a table, and that many deplore the increase in kit moulded on, as extra work to paint!

Figures are based for Shako. The infantry are twelve figures a battalion, six figures a cavalry regiment.

We've used them , for shako, commit the guard,, Napoleon at war to name a few.

Love my Russian hussars . They're the bees knees.
