Are there any Historicals that mimic the GW Arnor LOTR figures? I would like to bolster my Arnor army but GW only makes 3 poses.
I know that Minas Tirith Warriors can be converted, but I am wondering if the Arnor uniform was based on any historical uniform.
Any thoughts?

The helmet, wrapped with a bandana, looks a bit like the barbute worn in late medieval times. I would look for late medieval or early Renaissance Italian mercenaries and see if the work. You'll probably have to add the longer coat, shin guards, and of course the distinctive shield.

Ivan, I already have the shields. Any clue as to a maker of the figures you are describing?
And thanks for the info.
