I wanted to post a heads-up about FRP Games. I ordered some products from them back in August. My card was charged for the full order but after a month passed, I was told they were on back order but they were on the way to the store "soon." Another month went by and it was the same story. Ultimately they told me (after two months) that the products weren't available.

Kevin, the Customer Service Rep, suggested I switch "for another item" or cancel the order for a refund. I asked for a refund. That was on October 27th and still no refund has been issued.

I've tried several times to give them the opportunity to resolve the issue but they're not.

I'm contacting my bank tomorrow to report credit card fraud.

Sorry to hear of your problems. I've ordered from them several times and never had a problem.

I've had great service, too.

No problems here either. They got a facebook page? Posting your problem there gets you quick results with companies.

Hmmm, a shame.

Sounds like the moral to the story is to pay with Paypal, and file a complaint if you don't receive the item(s) before the deadline cutoff for that.

Paying with a regular credit card gives you more leverage than Paypal.

Odd, I have ordered from them in the past without problems.

Well, there was one occasion when the package was short some packs of minis. One phone call and the missing items arrived within the week.

I had some issues a while back with an Ebay seller that was a reputable bricks-and-mortar store, and I had to rattle a saber to get the attention of the owner because apparently the assistant who handled Ebay selling was a moron. You may need to go over this customer rep's head to get a satisfactory response.

I had an order missing a miniature and they took care of it, even though it took two tries. I would keep trying.

Also, are you sure the refund hasn't gone through? Refunds never show up as quickly as charges.

Thanks, all. I place a couple of calls but got no response. I've also been watching my bank statement pretty closely online and there's no sign of any refund.

I didn't think to check if they had a Facebook page but just posted to their public wall. Maybe they'll wake up and respond. I just hate operating that way. If that doesn't work I'll leave it to my bank to help resolve.

Deeman--thanks for the suggestion to look into a Facebook page for FRP Games. My post to their public page worked in getting them to issue my refund.
