………..and you should. You can be selective, but you will miss much if you do not. He does seem to get much flak, but, the more you post, the more likely that becomes.

I do not know how he does it. I often have suggested he is really a computer programme because his output is so incredible and I do wonder if he eats or sleeps at night.

Selectivement peut etre?

Yeah, but Tango dug it up from the grave. I saw the same site from a post five years ago. Coming full circle on most topics here.

You are totally right of course. I was pointed towards these pics a few years ago through this forum. In minutes I realised these were Second Empire re creations of First Empire Uniforms…………but the characters are probably real, so invaluable.

Tango did not start this particular thread and I am not wishing to defend his honour or virtue. I have never met him, indeed I have many times suggested he is not a human, but just a search engine, working for a Cyber company that, should it ever become self aware…no, you have seen the film.

Bless him, he takes fliegerabwherekanone (that spelling is wrong somewhere) but, if you pick and chose, bless him, he does find stuff we would miss.

One thing wrong here though. By simply posting my reply, it put Franklin's new post down one level (and it is far more important!). You can post a really important topic, but some one just has to reply a one word "Cool", in response to someone else's handiwork, and a message is soon lost!

Like many here I too am grateful for a lot of the golden nuggets that Tango1 unearths…

However, 57,000 posts in just over 4 yrs…WOW!!!

That's close to 1,500 a month, 50 a day, day in and day out, week after week, month after month…

The man is certainly prolific…

As deadhead has pointed out, a lot of us are very grateful for a lot of the gold that Tango1 unearths.

Btw, you don't need an apostrophe in "Photos"

Second Tango's searches and finds. Good ones

Isn't "photo's" and abbreviation of photographs and therefore needs an apostrophe?

Clever………..touche! Very clever…….nice one (I am obsessed with correct use of apostrophes, this one we must allow)!

It's part of its' attraction (teasing….someone will spot it)
