I love Kings of War,and we have played quite a bit of it lately.It has had me painting a bunch of old Warhammer figs that were in the closet and probably otherwise would have stayed there.A cheap soft cover with the rules and army lists only would get my vote,as I'm not really that hung up on the fluff,I'd rather just game! |

I like KoW and generally point folks to it who want alternative to WHFB and sometimes even for ancients/black powder since you can game those as well w/these rules. Not overjoyed that this edition will last for maximum of 3 years. It has its issues like any game but seem to recall 4 years being the plan. |
