I just stumbled across the Viking Forge Minifleet line of 1/2400th scale miniatures. I'm curious to see the quality of their models - does anyone have any links to pictures?

Thank you in advance. Google search didn't turn up any.

Sorry, I have no pictures but, as I have a good many of their predreadnoughts, I can tell you that size and style are most comparable to CinC 1/2400. Prices a bit less than those of GHQ. I just got off the VF website and was pleased to find that they have added most of the missing Rus-Jap
War line I was planning to scratch-build. Hope this is of some help.

The ships are decent enough, and remind me of the old Superior line.

Not the ultra-details of GHQ but good enough for that scale AND the PRICE. The only line that I have stocked in my store for years. I have been able to restock for a long time. the best ships for your money.

I would agree that their miniatures are very serviceable, and durable enough for wargaming.

I don't think you will be disappointed with them.

I bought a bunch of their moderns that no one else does, and was very pleased, e.g. Kuznetsov, Hermes, etc.

For myself I have all the ships in 1/3000th scale so i don't need to go to another scale.

Plus as far as i can tell Viking Forge doesn't make any of the Russian Aux vessels that went with the Baltic Fleet to Tsushima.

Whereas in 1/3000th scale they make some of those Aux vessels.

Hyun,

I've got quite a few for the Viking Forge 2400's in my collection. IMO, they're right behind GHQ in terms of detail so I'm sure you wont' be disappointed.

whoa Mohamed, you do not have to mail us a list of what you want, then wait for us to send you an invoice, etc. etc.
All you have to do is send a check and a list of what you want. We have been doing it this way hundreds of times a year for 25 years without a hitch.
One of the many reasons we do not use Paypal is because it would cost us extra to use it. At an average price of $5.95 USD a pack, we are trying to keep our miniatures more affordable for you.
If this grates on you, may we suggest that you buy from our competitor at $13.50 USD a pack? They accept Paypal.

Tumbleweed – why not add a small surcharge for PayPal transactions to cover your costs?

Many online companies do this and most users find it acceptable – it also means worldwide coverage and customers…think of the possibilities…!

I, like many others here at TMP don't live in the USA and so cannot send a cheque for payment which immediately precludes us from buying from you.
You will also get immediate payment from PayPal which keeps the money flowing in.

Got a couple as samples.

Having looked at the samples I went for XP Forge and Tumbling Dice.
