Great looking game!! Looks like a lot of fun. Some really impressive painting as well. Being a Prussian at heart, got to love those Brandenburg Uhlans! Question: Why did the Prussians quit the field? Did they fail divisional/corps moral? It didn't look like they actually fought that much other than taking one town. |

Firstly a big thank you for such encouraging feedback and your kind words. It means a lot to me. The rules are General de Brigade, our present favourite. The Prussians did a lot of fighting, Yorck was in the wrong place so got out flanked and badly outnumbered without sufficient infantry supports, he broke and fled. Dolff's cavalry were almost constantly engaged and eventually withdrew after mounting casualties. Klux also broke after a routing battalion caused panic, Ziethen was pulled back as his supports fled, both had been in near constant action around Gross Gorschen from turn 1. The Russians under Winzingerode broke, Duka was pushed back but unbroken. Rosen with the Guard and Berg covered the retreat. Sorry not to have more fully explained that in the Batrep, hope that tidies it up for you. Be cool, JJ |
