I love the look of that thing! Reminds me of something that could be in Damnation Alley.

Lion, I said the same thing last time it was previewed. Glad I'm not the only one who saw a good match to that particular machine.

Well, he wasn't in Damation Alley, and he's been in over 90 movies, so come on guys, give us all a break and tell us what film you're alluding to. I know I'll probably feel stupid after you let us know, but I can take it.

oops forgot the missiles on the central turret – wondered why those semi-circles where there…another senior moment! Missiles to follow.

it has missiles??? i like it as is actually, like that's a scanning turret or similar……

come to think of it i'm not sure i like those turrets on the sides…..they look kind of tacked on. maybe the missile turret in the middle is better and i'll seal up the turret holes…..

It is one cool looking machine. What does the back look like? Does it have a hatch, a ramp or something else? The title says it's a "transporter." So what does it transport? Troops as an APC, or goods as in military and/or civilian supplies?

Rear has a large access ramp – I'll take more photos once I've finished the rockets. I'll jusr see if I already have a rear view somewhere…

Incidentally – ramp is a separate part and the area behind is recessed though the hull is not hollow. You could paint it a very dark colour and have the ramp raised/lowered….and yes i missed a couple of mold lines!

This was the first model out of the mould --the production castings are cleaner.

The vehicle is the combat transporter manufactured for their own use and for export by the Core Systems Ghulams. (A CSG was in one of the alien desperadoes sets I recently released and they are getting another dozen poses to make them a faction.) It is used by them in battle but is also widely used by the Control Battalions.

An AFV is being designed for the CSG as well but by a different designer.

The vehicle will be released once painting is completed and I ger the pewter parts. I hope that will be within a week or so.

I did highlight the upper edge once I realised I'd missed them to make it look like damage (hopefully). A simple scrape with a scalpal blade would have sorted them. Pretty clean for a prototype though.

Got the pewter parts last night so we are almost there.

Of course, I will need to build a boxspring tonight -- imagine my surprise when the boxspring I ordered arrived … in a box.

Gzg has future brazilians in 15mm I think will go well with this monster. So many vehicles and infantry to mix and match….halcyon days indeed

Filling those in should not be difficult at all regardless of the mounting hole's size. In this configuration its perfect for the Policía Técnica.

It be dem Saints! No, they are the Control battalion troops which will form the evil branch of the police carrying out all forms of oppression. This is the perfect vehicle for that. "Policía Técnica" denotes their use of technology to carry out their form of summary justice.

Looking forward to when these pop up for sale. The Freehold's armoured list will be a veritable galactic version of the Iranian army by the look of things – a whole bucket of tanks, but no one from the same designer!

Oh, also, did you ever go with the idea of adding a heavy plow/ mineclearing spades to that front chin at all?

Love it. The missile system clinches it for me. And I too am a fan of an eclectic AFV stable under one flag… I'm going to have to figure out how to integrate a couple of these into my ongoing projects…

I think I like this even more than the Stannis explorer. Which is saying something, because I really like the Stannis.

Both of them seem to be the "Explorer" ATV from Star Frontiers RPG to me.

Now if someone *cough* ELI! *cough* would just make some 15mm not-Dralasites, not-Yazirians, and not-Vrusk…
