The other night i had a dream that involved the battle of Space Jutland (i know but i cant control dream names) which involved ponderous World War 1 style space Battleships duking it out using some form of radioactive steam for a power source. The boiler rooms looked like WW1 boiler rooms but they had a special mechanism for FTL, or at least super acceleration, that involved injecting tachyon infused heavy water into the drive sort of like a nitrous system. WIsh i could remember more details but it was a damn good dream. now i guess i have to try and make the ships

Ahhhh….The Supra-Luminal Drive. Using radium dusted phosphor peat pellets augmented by a Aethero-hydrodynamic chronoclastic indifibulum Turbine. Used by the Aurelean Concordat, Cyberiad, Star Crown Confederacy, Synistryan Hegemeny and the Hesperan Dominate. Classic dreadnought style, non-capitol ships use a system downgrade.

Nice dream!!!!:)

That is a good dream! Last night I dreamt a friend was critiquing my dullcoating (or lack of) of some Napoleonic skirmish figures and fleet scale Star Wars fighters, so that was a much less fun dream.

You're hired, Skippy- president of SyFy Channel. Head on over at your convenience.

If anyone there says they didn't get the memo, feed them to (normal) piranhas.

Next up you need to make a run through the Space Dardanelles!

Question is, what may have been driving the dream? Recent reading, say, Blooding of the Guns? Anime? History Channel?

Never had the dream, and though I've had a few pale near misses, I want the real thing, dream-wise!

Why can't I have dreams like that?

Why can't I have dreams like that?

They cost extra.

Not sure what caused it. I think watching a video of the Battle of Tsushima on you tube and my general love of space battleships that look like older warships. Wish i could dream the sequel

This might have been responsible

Ah, I've seen parts; wondrous lovely, but did not give me the dream.

I keep hoping we can get the series in HD; MAYBE, on a big screen…

Thanks for the attempt!

Doug
