Dark Fable Miniatures has launched its latest Indiegogo campaign for their range of ancient Egyptians. A total of 12 core sets of Egyptian miniatures are being offered as perks which are a good mix of personalities, warriors, adventurers, beasts and creatures, plus a number of stretch goal rewards.

Some great stuff in there for viginettes etc. I like the hunting dogs and wish thry had been out before…Will add some along with Middle Kingdom bowmen (desert patrol).
Just trying to visualise an Egyptian camp arrangement also.
Could I get away with guards as historical.

They are great figure will jump on board as soon as the funds replenish

Some more actual historical figures would be nice. But still some great stuff to put use in "historical" Eyptian armies among the packs.

Why not on needs more boobies.

I backed the first two and I will back this one too as soon as the treasurer (that I love very much in case she reads this) releases funds to spend on "toy soldiers" as she likes to call my treasures. Just spent a small fortune on Cracker Line 10mm ACW figures so she's not really keen at the moment. :-)

I think the range has done ancient Egypt, fantasy wise, quite nicely. I am glad to see more tomb critters and the Mummy is pretty sharp.

Complaining about bare boobies on Ancient Egyptians makes about as much sense as complaining about cloths on Eskimos.

Thanks for the interest in the campaign, we are just on the verge of unlocking our third stretch goal reward (the hunting dog set). I received some metal masters from the caster and Paul Sanderson is busy painting away some of the core sets – which includes the Senet Game set pictured below. Paul based it on a 40mm resin base from Fenris Games which I think looks great. I've tried to keep the range a nice mix of historical, mythological and in this campaign adventure-horror themed sets inspired by Hollywood films. Overtime, I hope to add more soldier, civilian (peasants, labourers, merchants) types which would be more historical – if only I had unlimited funds!!! But there are plenty of ranges out there that cover this better than I could at the moment, so I've opted to create sets that are not commonly available. Hopefully there is enough in this campaign to allow different types of gamers to pick and choose sets that are suitable for their needs :)

Some fantastic stuff here. Been watching for ages and planning what I could use for historical battles and will to allow certain amount of "it could be historical". Sure I could fit the Nubian guards in somehow.
The Nubian with Hyena would make nice command element. Senet set I see as part of Egyptian camp. Dogs look good on command elements too and I plan to add some to Middle Kingdom bow unit (as they actually had on desert patrols).
Only Foundry have civilian sets that could compete with your stuff so more would be welcome.
Hope others can see potential in whats on offer. Will get a set or 2 end of month and see how I can add to my Egyptian historical armies. The children would work with Sea People ox carts.

Amazed to see that hyena handlers are or were actually factual in West Africa.
As well as command it make great part of Impetus base.
