I am converting some Heroclix figures and would like some advice on the type of glue and paint to use on them since I have never done this before with Heroclix. Enamels or acrylic paints? Superglue or epoxy or something else?

Thanks.

As for glue I really don't have an answer. Superglue or epoxy should work fine. Acrylics are ideal for clix figures.

I've done a number of clix figures. For glue, superglue is your best bet. For paint, I'd recommend using Simple Green to do a partial strip, rinse well and they use an Acrylic primer.

As Rich Bliss said, superglue works very well esp. for conversions. Snip and glue in most cases and you can make similar figures have different poses pretty easily.

These are PVC figures. The recommendations for Reaper's Bones line may be helpful:

I recommend priming with gesso and using acrylic paint. It's a flexible coat that's not going to crack when the mini inevitably bends.

Go with Acrylic paint for everything. Some, but not all, vinyl figs will get sticky when you use oil-based paints. I use gesso for priming clix figs.
