While looking for some inexpensive trees, I came across this tutorial. YouTube link If it's already been posted, sorry for the double post. It looks pretty easy. He calls the product a gutter guard. Not sure if it is a product in the USA or not. I have not seen anything like it. I'll have to check Home Depot. |

I see I've goofed the title! It could work quite well. I wonder if the Crafts store might have some Christmas stuff that would be similar? |

Anyone know what type of spray adhesive he used? (couldn't hear him, couldn't read can)Any idea what difference flock type makes? I would guess any kind of tacky spray should work. Flock tends to clump up with anything wet so a second run will really fill out the tree. Should definitely be the light weight variety of flock and on the more sandy textured flock. |

I tried these and they worked perfectly, then the two I'd made as a test when picked up a couple of weeks later shed all the flock. So I'd be careful picking a glue. |

In one of his video he says he uses 3M's Super 77 Multi-Purpose spray adhesive. He didn't think the cheaper alternatives worked as well. It's like $10 USD a can at Home Depot. Menard's has (order online) 5" and 6" twisted wire gutter brushes. 12' for $40 USD/$48. That's a lot of trees. |

I would dip them in PVA afterwards it will dry clear and I guarantee they won't shed. |

I've seen the brush online for $5 USD for probably 18". That ends up being $10 USD per yard. Probably pretty good for the amount of trees you can make. |
