Which manufacturers and figures would you recommend for putting together an ISIS force?

I am thinking of making an ISIS force that I can also use (with some swaps) for sci-fi gaming.

Khurasan has Talibani that look nice. They are clearly pashtun but its a start.
Rebel minis have figs with Kheffiyah.

Blaze away have arab insurgents

Editor in C. Bill:
Have a look at Rebelminis or Flashpoint miniatures. One of them (and I can't remember which) has a line of Iraqi Insurgents which might fit your requirements. Flytrap Factory has an "Islamic Jihad Brigade" in their Warfighter line which might do nicely too.
Cheers.

Rebel Minis also a great line of generic Jihadis. Flytrap has some great stuff, too.

I did some modern U.S. Army and Jihadists for Ambush Alley. The figures I used were from Rebel minis. Not only were the figures the right price, and the scupting very good, I really like doing business with Rebel.

You have lost me.
Flytrap Factory does make a set of Afghan civilians going about their business and mixed in are some irregular combatants.

Thanks Kyoteblue and ignore my request on another thread. Oh, and please just call me "Rod".
Cheers.

Back to the minis; don't Peter Pig do shemagh heads? Some of Oddzial Osmy's new 15mm 'Volunteers' with head swaps and black fatigues would look the business. I remember Shawn of Ambush Alley doing something similar in the early days of Force on Force.

I remember Shawn of Ambush Alley doing something similar in the early days of Force on Force.

I took some of Peter Pig's excellent figures and used some Super Sculpy to give them the appropriate head gear. I think they were from the Hardened Militia line.

Peter Pig is also a great source of 15mm modern stuff – I have hundreds of AK-47 figures that I used with original Ambush Alley and now I use quite often with Tomorrow's War (as colonists).

You can't go wrong with Peter Pig, RebelMinis, or Flytrap.

Shawn.
