I think Ral PArtha and/or Reaper has a familiars pack that might or might not include an owl :D |

There have been lots of miniature owls done over the years, some out of production, some still available. The OOP owls are still fairly easy to find on Ebay. As Cherno says, both Ral Partha and Reaper have done owl familiars. At least two of RP's are still available through Iron Wind Metals, and Reaper still has one, too. Other owls were done by Castle Creations, Citadel, Heritage, Mega Miniatures, Megalith Games, Otherworld, and Pendraken. The Pendraken owls are actually 15mm, but they're giant owls, so they look fine with 28mm minis. They're also posed in-flight, which is nice. There are also owls perched on branches, done by Mannikin Studios, Reaper (two different versions), and Wyrd. Giant owls, some of them as big as dragons, some with riders and some without, have been done by Citadel, Cool Mini or Not, Dragontooth, Reaper (two different versions), Superior, and Wizards of the Coast. There are also quite a few wizards and sorcerers with owls perched on their hands or shoulders. If you're interested in a list of those, let me know. |

Suggest going to Michaels, Hobby Lobby or similar. They carry a prepainted plastic owl (and lots of other animals and fantasy creatures) that's nicely done for about $8 USD or so. It's got outstretched wings as though it's about to catch prey, so a very dynamic pose. |
