Does anyone have a side view of a VA-155 Silver Foxes Skyhawk on the Coral Sea in 1965 showing the placement of the Stars n Bars ?

My Osprey only shows a version with the 3 colour camo on the Connie.

Wings Palette has this one wp.scn.ru/en/ww3/a/783/3/16#118
from 1964

Did you try looking on the VA-155 website ( va155.us ) ?

It looks like there are some photos from the 1965 Coral Sea deployment there ( link )

Si

From the '65 cruise book, and Francillon "Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club" the modex for the cruise for VA-155 was 5xx.

So here are photos in the book:

Looks like a aft placement, and a squadron logo amidships.
