This is the most ridiculous thing I ever saw, and on this board that's saying a lot. What happened to the lower half of her left arm? I agree with jowady. |

What happened to the lower half of her left arm? Her arm is bent touching above her breast. The shoulder and upper arm are in the cloak. |

She appears to be overcome with "the vapors" upon being offered a crossbow by Gollum. At least, that's what I get out of it. |

Weirdest tableau I've seen for a while.
Her gaze seems directed towards someone (or something) standing outside the tableau…perhaps to the supplier of the crossbow, which is being presented by his/her/it's slave. In which case, perhaps her strange hand gestures are communicating something like: 'This crossbow is only marginally larger than lifesize. See?' What am I, a midget? (indicates with lower hand) 'I'm a semi-nude figurine. I require one at the very least twice this high.' (indicates with upper hand). |
