The last time I tried to post this, TMP error outs ended up deleting it…so I am trying again…

So this weekend, I got 17 28mm Pulp Figures finished, and 2 pieces of scenics done. I also have 10 more pulp figs in the "almost completed stage", along with a massive "Fall Haul" of sale stuff from Hobby Lobby and Lemax from Menards: (see it here: link )

So who else got stuff done this weekend (hobby wise)?….

Working on 29th Armoured Brigade for Goodwood. I'm doing it as 1 base/platoon. I have all the minis sorted and set aside, and spent the weekend adding applique armour to the Shermans and making stowage items to add later. Fiddly fiddly work.

HAH! Done? Never happens… :)

Decided to start painting a GW Necron Monolith I've had sitting around primed for at least 2 years, as well as an Annihilation barge. Did some work on Imotekh the Stormlord (also sitting on the Shelf of Shame). Also found my Perry WotR plastic billmen again, did some fleshtones & pre-painting the metal parts. Finally, successfully stripped a Reaper Bugbear and 2 ADB/Mongoose Starline 2500 Feddie War Destroyers (didn't seal the decals well on the first try, and they smeared when the dullcote was applied…), and did some detail work on 3 Feddie Frigates and a Heavy Cruiser! Hoping to decal up a Feddie Battlecruiser tonite…

Finished 6 1/600 ACW gunboats and 64 6mm phalangites.

I did sit down last night and did some work on a few Warmachine Khador Winterguard infantry. Also did some heavy thinking about what projects I want to continue with and what projects I want to curtail and sell off.

Mounted, flocked and dull-coated some 15mm German WW2 AT guns. Converted some 15mm Russian gunners in greatcoats by BF by adding Peter Pig heads to them. These were also cleaned and primed. Made up some stands for Soviet AT guns. And just about finished up a half-dozen 28mm British riflemen for Napoleonic Spain.

Not a bad weekend, all told.

I neither painted nor built. I spent all day yesterday applying decals to a fleet of Federation starships for Federation Commander.

I got half way thru two 16 man units of 40mm Hessians.

Painted 7 28mm British Officers (on foot) for my upcoming War of 1812 game.

Then started some figures for my Crusader SAGA army.

Touched up and based over 100 15mm French Napoleonic cavalry. Still have 30 to go.

I'm in a modelling phase at the moment and am toiling away at Revell's Boxer APC.

I finished painting 20 28mm Perry Saga Moors. 2 and a half units. Woohoo! They need spears and shields though, and a wash, and shield transfers, and a seal coat, and bases, and flocking…. Dang! I guess I didn't finish anything.

I got some civilian cars and scatter terrain painted for Infinity, finished five long ignored FIW figures, and painted a 28mm Reaper cat.

I started on some more Psiloi for my Hoplite DBA army. I may finish them today.

This was a gaming weekend, so no painting.
This coming weekend looks promising to get some stuff done.
Mostly some Napoleonic cavalry for a friend that I have been procrastinating over for far too long.
Some HYW knights and TSATF Italians and Highlanders are also in the queue.

I worked on a group of 14 Dead Man's Hand figs (for me) and began painting stone work on a GW tower for the boy.

I hope to finish the last 14 figures of my Irish Saga army today between watching the Villa game (on tape)and the Redskins game live. (And get a some close to finishing 10 Senegalhese WW1.)

I didn't get much painted this weekend, I was pretty busy. I did manage to get 12 Carbinier horses done.

However so far today I've finished 14 15mm ACW rebs, 8 28mm Irish and 20 10mm Resistance figures. Now I'm working on the riders for those Carabinier horses.

I looked at my unfinished 15mm Quar…then went to the bar.

From last Tuesday to Friday, I painted and based 100 Pendraken 10mm Zulus amd 20x 28mm pulp figures for "clients". Over the weekend I packaged them up for mailing and started on 60 Pendraken 10mm British.

Still working on another 36 Calpe Landwehr. Started them Oct 15th, should be finished my the 31st, that's the target date anyway.

I've been averaging 72 figures a month, with 64 artillerymen, 16 guns and 108 Landwehr painted since August 1st. I haven't based these yet, going to do a mass basing.

I've got 48 more Landwehr, 120 Line, 24 command, 32 Horse gunners, 10 guns, and 12 cavalry to paint up.
If I can keep up the pace I'll be done by February.

All this will add to the already painted and based count.

Nothing painted – this coming weekend for that. I ran a play test of IABNM though.

Prepped about 40 1/600 aircraft and about 30 15mm figures for skirmish gaming; also about a dozen 15mm animals.

Also finally applied stickers to my Command & Colours Napoleonics Austrian blocks (about a 3 hour job alone). I had a bunch of other GMT games arrive Friday, from their last sale, which derailed one evening's worth of time.

28mm Tramp Steamer.

A bridge. Two block colors, a drybrush & a wash. 10 minutes painting and fours hours drying time. Then I sprayed protective varnish and dullcote. Another 20 seconds painting and eight hours drying time. I spent the whole weekend watching paint dry!

A 1/56 scale Centurion tank. I want to turn the Beatles movie "Help!" into a wargame scenario. I'm not kidding.

Spent the weekend watching my grandsons (8 and 11) while my daughter attended a veterinarian conference with her husband. They are coming back today.

I dropped a 90 mn flat back into the PineSol after turning a beautiful lady into a bad Groucho Marx. So less than zero done. Beat that level of nonacomplishment.

All Quiet on the Martian Front Gun Towers – not official models but made with left over bits from the Tanks. Plus started tarting up my FOW Trenches for use in the same game.

I just love these models and I am having a hard time stopping myself buying a stupid amount of Tanks :)

I made a dice tower using a Brush4Hire Necropolis Obelisk:

Now I just need to paint it up and give it a good hard clearcoat, and it'll be ready for gaming.

Spent the weekend (and nearly all of the preceding week) chasing wapiti and muleys.

No success on the weekend. Brothers managed to harvest a bull and a cow earlier in the week.

May have some fruit of the chase this evening (I need to do something with a heart and liver as well).

P.S. The Early Armenians I prepped a week ago will probably get some attention tonight as may the bases of the Early Bedouins that were painted a week and a half ago…

I finished:

- 4 bases of 28mm FPW cavalry
- 5 54mm Pathan Cavalry
- 4 bookcases + 4 chests and 2 Candelabra for Heroquest scenery
- put 2 more colours on 6 x 54mm WW2 Germans
- put 2 colours on a bunch of 28mm Prussian/bavarian infantry

so not a bad day…

Finished 2 feet worth of 15mm field works (gabions) and a whole bunch of 28mm Ainsty Casting pieces.

Next up: 28mm Japanese and some 4ground buildings

I finished, or close to it;

Put together and primed 8 Kryomek tanks (5 hover and 3 tracked).

I assembled 60 space wolves grey hunters and 18 long fangs for a commission. Never again.

Working on 20mm WWII – finishing off the Royal Winnipeg Rifles; almost done

Unpacked a 28mm cottage that I need to get done for a game mid-November

I assembled and painted 2 Ad Astra Traveller fleets.

All 28mm stuff. It was actually a pretty productive saturday.
-Painted up a Post Apoc land-Trimaran for a buddy.
-Repaired and painted some weapons and then based up 2 mounted and 6 foot knights that were previously painted by someone else.
-Painted the Base colors on 9 police miniatures from Tactical Miniatures and West Wind. Flesh and details next.

Hope to have the cops finished before the weekend so I can jump into the 6 Khador Warjacks that I've acquired to make a unit of "Lesser Abbysal Golems" for Kings of War.

Finished sewing my daughter's Halloween costume (basically Snow White from Snow White and the Huntsman). The sewing machine is using up my painting spot, so until I get all the assorted sewing done around here, no painting/assembling figures.

Nothing I went on a very nice 11 Km Volksmarch with my family. Enjoying the superb weather we had on Saturday.

I need to prime some figures so that I can be ready for the winter painting season.
