From ages past the Thrainites have relied on their nobility in heavy armour to undertake the most hazardous assaults, which serves them well in battle to this day, in an age of plasma weapons and space demons. Now, instead of great axes, the nobles carry assault weapons, missile launchers, and DPMGs, and instead of steel armour they are girded with power assist osmium armour….

Just waiting for one more figure to be painted, and at last the Thrainites can be released!

Very cool! Been waiting for these for a while, I know my friend is going to love these, as he's a dwarf at heart!

Need these… How soon before that last mini is painted??? 8^)

Been waiting for these a while myself! I want to release the whole line together, including the MDMS vehicles, but everything in this hobby proceeds at a glacial pace, because for most of us it's a sideline….

Art, hoping soon. It's the high lord in command armour so I'd like to have him ready.

Cool!

I know these have been one of those big pains in your butt for a while.

I'm happy to see they are so close. The universe has been serious lacking in Space Dwarves ever since my beloved Squats were retconned from the GW universe.

WH40KRT?

Guessing: WarHammer 40K Rogue Trader

It'll be interesting to see how the Thrainites as a whole scale against 15mm.co.uk's Niflung, which are closer to the early RT-era Squats in style but aren't big enough as a range to build a large army from. I suspect these guys might be too tall to mix comfortably. :( Nice minis though.

WOW, great figures once again but where are the USMC and aliens from that great TV show from the 90's.

Twoball Cane26 Oct 2014 4:33 p.m. PST

Those are awesome!

Guessed correctly, Stryderg. I am pondering these for precisely that purpose, along with suitable irk proxies from either GZG, or Rebel Minis… ideal scale for sci-fantasy mayhem IMHO….evil grin

Waiting for the painter, IIRC.

Very nice minis, K!
