Your link just takes me to youtube but doesn't give me any link to what you talk about.

Works ok for me.

Chortle, thank you as your link worked for me. The video does show that even with time, the Connoisseur figures still look great when in mass on a gaming table.

The Connoisseur figures have perfect proportions. If you haven't seen them, take a look at Firing line. Same proportions but better detail. I have the Wurttemberg infantry and cavalry under the brush now. They have separate heads and there are lots of firing head types.

I love the start of the video 'Anyone need the rag'. Peters figures have shed much blood , i'm guessing that was the accident.

Now that was a trip down memory lane. I was there a couple of times in the mid 80s. Excellent weekends. And approximately 1/2 my French are Connoisseur. My favorite figures.

Went there a few times in the early 80s (and later) myself. Thankfully no-one smoked in the building during my visits.

Mullets, mutton chops and indoor smoking.
Happy days.

I'm amazed how similar it looks to today's Wargames Holiday Centre. The same terrain boards are still in use!

The Good Old Days were good!

Yep, was using those same boards only last weekend, they are still in good nick, although the vast majority of the figures in that video are long retired, not all, but most.
