A short blog about the rescue of a bodged ruined church.

Will it turn out well?

The wargame bridge looks nice.

@normsmith

I hope the church will look as nice as the bridge once I have de-bodged it.

@Terrement

Certainly a nice base, timbers, debris, some tiles. I have some tombstones somewhere in the bits box, maybe a cross too.

Am not sure lupines are in the mix. I have to think of the potential customer base.

Did I mention no lupines :)

Nice progress!
You're putting in much more effort than I would have. I'd have just stuck it on a base and started gluing even more folliage and ballast over the messy parts. Still, I think your results will be much better than mine would have been.

@ordinarybass

If I keep this for myself I would expect it to stand up to many years of usage.

If I sell it will probably be to someone who I know very well so I would not want to have complaints thereafter.

Even if I sell it to someone I don't know I would still expect them to receive a product up the same standard.

You're a good man JimDuncan!
Looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
