I've messed around again with one of Warlords plastic Russians, yes its a mash up of warlord and Victrix plastics and of course abit of good old greenstuff

picture
the body head arms and weapon are all warlord plastics but the cape is from victrix plastic spartans. The hood is moulded greenstuff left to start to cure then folded into shape and pressed into place. Quick simple and hopefully effective! The worst part was painting under the cape and getting the creases in the greenstuff to flow into the plastic cape

so thanks for looking feedback welcome as always

Looks great. I wish I had done similar to give my plastic Russians more character.

Thanks CaseyNOVA, I'm trying to make soviets stand out abit more. I'm painting up the last 5 I've done in greatcoats so they should add abit more variety to my collection.

Well done and it looks completely natural to the figure! And by mixing in Spatans, you're now allowed to yell out whatever city they are defending! Win, win!

Thanks FreemanL,I'm planning a couple more! Maybe a sniper would be a good choice. I can almost him shouting "This is Stallingrad"

Cheers Robby, he does look pretty nifty for a pretty simple conversion. I don't think I've got a single Russian on the paint table that I havnt butchered or altered in some way or another.

So thanks again for looking
