No mention of American M1 Abrams tanks? Apparently several have been captured and a few have also been destroyed by ISIS.

These don't have the same advanced armour and systems. the US models have.

There are no reports or allegations whatsoever that Abram tanks were captured by ISIS, only that a few were destroyed. I think some people just assumed.

I saw the Kurds using T-55s and other combat vehicles on CNN. I'm guessing those were taken from ISIS in Iraq ? As at one point the Iraqi's in their "infinite military expertise" would not arm the Kurds with more than SA … However, US supplies drops are now occuring in the Syrian Kurd town of Kobani. Which is mostly SA, Medical, Man packed AT weapons, rations, etc. … The Turks again in showing their "whole hearted" support for the NATO/UN actions, will allow Iraqi Kurds cross into Turkey to get to Kobani …
