Has Anyone played a game or campaign games, of a group of heros that goes around the would to collect Antiquities of myths, legends, folklore, history and of superstituons like the Hammer of Thor, Pandora's Box etc. In the attempt to keep them out of the wrong hands. :D Kind of on the lines of "Warehouse 13" and other shows |

Sort of. We have a Savage Worlds RPG campaign going on right now, a sort of "Weird Pulp," which is a mix between what you talk about above and a little Cthulu mythos mixed in. Set in late '30s US, there is a lot of globe-trotting that happens. And while the artifacts are not quite as high profile as Mjolnir, they are ancient and mystical artifacts that must be kept from the hands of the Nazis, or crazy cults that infest upstate New York… Damon. |

Nic Cage says: "How am I not in this game?!?!" There have been similar topics here on TMP over the years. Here are two, from 2009 and 2014, listing artifacts to be retrieved: TMP link TMP link |

The old Indiana Jones game was along those lines. |

The Indy game had a source book on the relics of the world. |

My thought or idea was to set up "The Bureau of Antiquities" the main charater or charaters, to move about around the world and link up with branch members in those areas, now from time to time there will be military attachments as well, American, British, Russian, and Australian Now for every action there is a reaction, just as there is good there is evil, so there will be evil charaters as well looking for the same things, Those who wish to run the world themselves working with Germans and Japanese to reach their goals. |

Sounds workable to me. The old Top Secret espionage RPG ( link ) had similar mechanics. For a given mission, the GM (or Administrator) could select a number of cities with a clue or contact in each one, leading to the final encounter. There was even a helpful flowchart published in issue #40 of Dragon magazine. I posted more detailed comments in this TMP topic: TMP link |

Very cool… I ran a campaign like this years back. Late 20's early 30's… a great time for adventure! I was the GM and my adventurers had an airship liberated form the Nazi's who.. throughout the course of the game were always trying to get it back or race to get the same artifacts. Lots of great figures for this time frame too! |

We ran one a couple of years ago with THW's Larger than Life system. A lot of fun… one of the players found a amulet that summoned Deep Ones, so that was pretty comical… RebelMike Rebelminis.com |

I plan on building a Tramp Steamer, a Grumman Gosling, a DC-3 Dakota, PT Boat, for all to get around with, a Main Headquarters with Warehouse in the U.S. to work from and sub-stations with storage facilities waiting for transportation around the world, now of course I'll have to make other things a few other buildings, temples, caves, and catacombs |
