The only surviving ship of the battle of Jutland being restored, hopefully in time for the 100th anniversary.

Worth posting again; thanks.

If this was a Tango01 post, however, the exact same material would generate complaints by certain individiuals about previous posts on this subject, such as these:

I think this new post is fair because, via the BBC, it is announcing that the funding required is confirmed

I think there can be a difference – I've accidentally posted something that repeats another post, it happens. Tango produces lots of excellent posts but doesn't discriminate very well between new and old topics. With the numbers involved, it's noticeable and detracts from his 'good' posts.

Just giving the link to the BBC story was worth the post

Not all of us are here everyday and posts do go off the visible site even though I have the maximum numbers turned on

Thanks to Samsonov I did not miss the story

Kind of funny that the dailymail ran a story about turning the last surviving WW1 battleship into a museum. Where have you chaps been hiding this battleship ;-) Keeping secrets from your allies?

And here I thought the USS Texas was the last remaining WWI era Battleship left in the world.

Media rule #1: All land vehicles with guns are tanks, all ships with guns are battleships.

Very cool that visitors will be able to visit the engine areas! Usually they're either inaccessible or part of a special tour.
