"The T-129 ATAK, the first attack and tactical reconnaissance helicopter produced by Turkey were delivered to the Turkish Land Forces (KKK) after training of the flight personnel. An introductory meeting was held on Thursday at Army Aviation Command in Ankara's Güvercinlik town on the newly-delivered helicopters. Officials explained press members on features on the helicopters and preparations of the fight personnel…"

I wonder what other attach helicopters it is comparable to? It seems sort of small.

It's a modernized Agusta A129 'Mongoose.' It's even called the T-"129":

I wonder what other attack helicopters it is comparable to? It seems sort of small.
It is a smaller helo, it's based on the Augusta A129 Mongoose. I'd call it comparable to the earlier, twin-engine AH1 SeaCobras (AH1J or AH1T). Not the AH1W or AH1Z airframes, the older models.

Interetingly enough at one stage the Turks were considering the Russian KA-50 Hocum for this project.

I'm surprised they went Italian and not American as they currently have a whole heap of older AH-1P/S/Ws in service (though don't go by Wiki – the numbers are heavily overstated – real number is about 46 delivered though a number has been lost).
