Considering the interest in the 1st Carlist War, how come that did not rub off on the Miquellite War in Portugal? |

The Miquellite War was a dynastic war in a European backwater and none of the major European powers were involved in any significant manner. The Carlist War may invoke more interest because of the variety of "volunteers" which fought on both sides ( British, French Foreign Legion, etc.). Dynastic wars do not seem to generate much interest. |

Also, the Carlist Wars feature some really cool skull-and-crossbones flags. That said, some of those minor wars like the Miquellite War could be the basis for a small campaign game. Pondering… |
