Hi everyone! Well I got a package in the mail from the USA today and inside was my Flight Stands from Fight's On. I did a product review of these great stands. Check them out at my blog. Thanks link |

Nice looking stands, I don't have them, but have a bunch of other cool goodies from Fight's On. |

So I have a bunch of 1/144 plastic pre-painted models from Japan, and I'd pretty much given up on using them for lack of good flight stands. And then you post this, and I go looking for my copy of CY6 and go to eBay looking for more planes and now I hate you… |

I bought some of these recently via Heroics. It looks as if mine didn't have the small rings that go in the centre of the stand? Consequently the magnet columns aren't a good fit for the stand hole, don't stand upright and even a small plane causes the column to topple over/break the column (the magnets don't stick together that well). I've since used the perspex rods that come with Litko stands as these fit the hole better. |

My apologies for not seeing this note earlier. We had a small problem w/ the 2nd run of the Cadillac stand's inner diameter hole being slightly too large. This produced the 'wonky-ness' experienced by BattlerBritain. As a result, we have begun to include a 1/4" OD ring magnet, w/ a 1/8" ID hole which perfectly fits the altitude magnets. Please check back on our website to see this improvement, and a graphic on how the altitude bands work. link link Any buyer of the old stands can get a free ring magnet set by contacting Andy Kirk at H&R or Fight's On! directly. All that's required is drilling out the hole to 1/4" and gluing in the ring magnet. We now do this for all new purchases. Cheers, Rob Fight's On! Actual |
