"I Like This Place!" Topic

Even with the occasional drama, meltdowns, infighting, etc. I really enjoy this online community. I am here every day, multiple times, just reading what everyone has to say. Sometimes I have relevant contributions. Sometimes irrelevant. And sometimes I delete my replies halfway through.

But at the end of the day, I like you all and am happy to be here.

There are people I disagree with, people who disagree with me, people who insult me, and people I probably wouldn't go out drinking with who participate on this site. But no one (except the Frothers driveby guys, who don't really count) has done anything awful enough to make me actually *dislike* them. And Terrement, you are one of my favorites. I learn cool stuff from you :-)

Welcome aboard! Other than people like Terrement calling other people liars for no reason I can discern (other than simple rudeness) we are a generally an amicable bunch.

Whatever you do, don't say the "F" word three times.

Just keep thinking that way, it's a nice way to be.

As for some the questionable TMP talk, I just ignore that banal babble and focus on the positive contributors and topics.

Agreed, overall it is a good site/place. You always have the choice to determine your level of involvement. Placing it in context it's my favorite place on the net. And, I like Terrement too!

punkrabbitt is trying to be a nice guy: nothing wrong with that but Terrement is right. It's impossible to like everyone who frequents here.

For example the sad specimens from that other site who occasionally escape through the wire to toss rocks on our roof are a tad (but only a tad) annoying. Some people's politics don't agree with me & those who don't appreciate my devastating wit…..but I must add that if I don't like everyone here, nor do I hate anyone.

TMP is like Life. Bits of it suck at times but mostly it's a lot of fun & please consider the alternative.

Like many of you, I love this place in spite of the inevitable quarrels. While there are some other good gaming sites on the web (Lead Adventure Forum, for example, is wonderful), none of them has the depth of information to be found here, and most don't have a fraction of the activity either. So all in all, I'm here to stay.

This is a nice thread to read in more ways than one.
