how does it turn???

The roof gunner does a 'Fred Flintstone' and hoists the buggy up and then does a shuffle in the direction that its intended to go in and sets it down again, Yabba Dabba Doo… Seriously that is a really nice looking special ops buddy i can just picture a couple of them bursting out the back of a Raven VTOL in a hot drop while the ramp is still being lowered. :)

i think it deploys out of a lander so the lander can point it straight in the direction it needs to go!!! :-)

how does it turn???

It's what I always say at this point: skid steering.

It's like asking "how does a (tracked) tank turn" :)

Nice models by the way Mr H

there's a reason skid steering wheeled vehicles are only construction vehicles, you know. LOL!!!

I'd imagine the wheels turn, you know, like a normal car grin

As these models are designed for wargaming use, and to be reasonably affordable there are sacrifices in realism that must be made.

I'm sure with not much effort you could model a full suspension.

Believe it or not, the doors don't open and the gun doesn't actually fire either.

Is the roof gun and gunner optional/removeable? Because these would some great dune buggies for civilian use.

Yep! The driver is cast into place, but the roof, gun and gunner are all separate.

If you wanted to swap out the driver it would be easy to do a head swap.
