A new 3rd edition is in the works!
One of my favorite RPG's.

Interesting, I played 2nd edition and it had a really good list of antagonists and abilities.
The creatures had skills that weren't offensive in their own right, but added to the atmosphere, making doors slam shut, electrical faults causing lights to flicker or stop the car starting.

I loved the first edition and played the hell out of it, but was completely turned off by the 2nd Edition art style. I hear the game was good, but I really didn't like the direction it went in.

Another first edition player here. Although somewhat generic the rules allowed the players to concentrate on the adventure (same for Time Master but not so much for Star Ace).

One of my fondest gaming memories is playing Chill, during a thunder storm, in a black out, by candlelight.

First edition for me as well but I'm only too happy to take a look at third edition.
Strange that their should be so much attention to Chill lately.

From the info it looks like it's going to be based off the second edition. Cryptworld by gobinoid games is very much 1st edition. The got rid of a lot of the powers of the way and removed SAVE.
