I was very excited with this miniatures for the South american wars of independence and I was waiting for the llaneros and other irregulars. However, it seems they have no activity since march 2013. Does anyone know what happened withs this company? Thank you very much |

Age of Glory carries them in the US. Sometimes it is difficult to get stuff made. |

My responsibility. Orinoco have been very patiently waiting on me to finish up some Llanero figures. They are on the workbench and are fairly close to being finished up. I had a problematic summer which has held things up, and its taken me til now to get things back on track, but they'll soon be done and off for casting. |

Wow! A response from the miniature designed himself! Thank you very much for your quick answer. The miniatures in the range are great sculpts but for the moment I'm looking for something more ragged. The llaneros can be really usefull miniatures. Oriol Barcelona |

I was wondering the same thing. I'm not going to invest in a line that appears to be going nowhere. |

Dear Gents, you'll be glad to know that Orinoco Miniatures is alive and well. 4 new packs of figures are about to go up on the web store. In addition to these, several packs of Llanero cavalry, peasant militia and Gran Colombian infantry (fatigues caps) command sets, and artillery for Spanish and Gran Colombian armies have been sculpted and ready for casting. I hope that answers your question 79thPA. Please take a look at the Orinoco Miniatures blog where you can see preview pictures of all the new sculpts: link |

I'm the sculptor of the range, but not the owner. I haven't heard from the fella in charge for a couple of years now. A friend was chatting to him at a show (fairly) recently and he was busy with his main work (or possibly a house move, I may be getting that mixed up). Life gets in the way of toys sometimes. Anyway, when/if I hear from him again I am happy to keep going, there's a few sculpts in limbo from the range still on my desk. |

Hello Hecoma, Orinoco Miniatures is still going. As Clibinarium mentioned, a recent move meant all the stock was packed away, and my main job also kept me extremely busy the last few months. Figures will be available again very soon, as well as some new packs of infantry and cavalry to be released. |
