On Saturday at 1pm I will be running a kids game in the Distelfink room.
S213 Save Santa VII: Halloween Horror! This will be a game for kids of all ages and we will be giving out prizes and figures for the kids.

Who else will be running kids games to promote the hobby?

Jimmy,
I can't wait to see the Fire and Rescue game.

I am running another game of Wooden Wars – get down on the floor and bounce rubber balls to knock down the opposing soldiers – on Saturday at 1PM. The objectives are edible and if you are the last person in contact with them you get to keep (eat) the objective. The fight over the Oreos was impressive last game.

My sons will have Star Wars and Heroclix available. We wrote a homegrown easy to remember set of rules. These games will not be on the pel, but we will be around. My boys are 12 and 10years old. My 12 year old is rather patient and kind. In case you have littles.

Rotundo,

That's great to hear. We always need new gamers, and if they are game masters, then that's even better!!!

I, for one, welcome our soon-to-be wargaming masters (when we're all drooling our soft food into our laps in the Old Wargamers' Retirement Home).

My guy are as fickle as the dice gods, but they really love the Lancaster Conventions. We do not vacation like most people. We are more inclined to weekends and Day trips. I have bought all the Western line from Blue Moon. We are putting together a scenario that will feature Cattlemen, Ranchers, Robbers, Posses, Grassland Natives, and many more. With in the year we will be ready. Kid friendly, mother approved. Hell, I might even stay sober!!!

In the guidebook app that we put together, there is now a track called Kid Friendly Games. The banner has orange letters. You see a kid friendly game by browsing through the schedule and selecting the ones that have orange and red stripes on the left side. I picked the kid friendly games mostly by their description ( and guessing). Not sue if. Got all of them.
