…you've been married / partnered / living with a woman.?

Moved to made this thead the recent one made by our fellow member Gunfreak in the Lounge saying that he propposed to her girlfriend and she said yes…

That reminded me that 33 years ago I made the same move with my wife.

Wow!.

Left a bad marriage after 6 years, a month later met my current lady at a workshop.
We've been together ever since, over 4 years now.

My wife and I met 3 years ago, and have been married just over one year.

Are you sure you should be mentioning what takes place in The Lounge to us non-fee paying carpet-terrorists.

I remember getting a grizzly "what takes place in The Lounge stays in The Lounge" reply to my enquiry of said place a month or so ago. My pants have still not fully dried out!

This is definitely my record- I´ve been with my wife now for 14 years. But I am great at being married, I´ve done it three times!

20-something years.

Can never remember exactly……

Married 27 years, been with her for 30 years.

38 years married, 40 together.

33 years on thurs.

Married 32 years, was engaged for nearly a year before then so 33 total including engagement.

I'm sure Terrement meant 37.5 years but skippy0001's post made me wonder about what would be .5 of a spouse. Having just finished a history of forensics, it's not a pretty picture.

32 and going strong.

We had been married 17 years when in 2002 Janine was diagnosed with breast cancer. Doctors told us the outlook was not good. Thank goodness we have great health insurance and live in a part of country where there is outstanding doctors/hospitals. Together we survived. Each anniversiry since then is special and we treasure our time together.

24 years, married for 22 of them.

Married for 13 years, nothing unlucky about it.

14 years, sure goes by very quickly!

In two weeks, it will be 23 years ago that I married my college ex-roommate's ex-girlfriend.

First time….almost six years of a living hell….

Second time….(and the last time)…2 years as of tomorrow…but we've been together for 9 years and have known one another for 14…

First one 19yr / 16.5yrs married then I got parole. Current wonderful woman is 8yrs with 2.5 yrs married…..

been with my missus 13 years – we don't live together which may explain the longevity ;-)

Yesterday was our 42nd wedding anniversary. Loving each other more and more every day, and in every way.

We were married in 2009 after living together for two years. My first marriage lasted 8 years, also after living together for two years.
