Looking for metal 20mm English Civil War/Thirty Years' War figures. Especially Kennington Miniatures (SHQ) or Tumbling Dice but also Hinton Hunt and Les Higgins. Let me know if you have any – thanks – Hal (halthinglum@aol.com)

Have you seen the irregular and warrior 20mm ECW?

Only the pictures on the website – but I have some of Irregular's other 20mm which are a good match height wise with e.g. 1/72nd plastics. They are the typical Irregular style of sculpt – a blend of quite good detail with a slightly coarse feel to the sculpts : bulky is a word that comes to mind.

The Warrior do look like they might be a little flat – particulalry the cavalry. On the other hand they're cleaner "slimmer" figures, and certainly seem to have a little "Old School" charm about them. I did my armies in 25mm, and then these appeared on the scene – I'd have probably risked them at the price!
