For the first time ever, I am looking to buy a building in 28mm rather than making my own. In a refight next year over and around the farmstead of Papelotte in 28mm, I've been looking at the Hovels model compared to the Sarissa-Precision MDF laser cut model. Which do you think is the better and more importantly accurate version? link

I personally prefer the Hovals version. |

I have the Hovels model and have painted it and gamed with it. Of these two models, I prefer the Hovels model because the gate is more accurate, the attached enclosure is accurately included, giving more terrain to fight over, and the well and other features make the farm come "alive", ready for battle. |

What about a 15, 10/12 or 6mm version |

First experience with these types of models was 4 Grounds La Haye Sainte. Is very nice, HUNDREDS of parts and some very fragile but I was determined.Plus I paid a ton for it. I WISH I had bought the Hovel's.All 3 Waterloo offerings. At least they all would have been in the same style.Painting them would have taken far less time and cheaper . R |

I like the Hovels stuff – feels mor "alive" – the md stuff can be a bit flat and lifeless. |
