Who, besides Old Glory's Far West in their Colonial area of their 15 mm Shipyard, makes Stern Wheelers suitable for the western rivers of North America? I do not want side wheelers for this – have enough of those.

I'm looking to add a couple of river boats for my Old West collection, one as a freight boat and one more of a passenger type boat (gambler's paradise, sort of). I do already have the Far West (very nice model) for the cavalry expeditions. Just want a couple to tie up at the riverfront in Anachronism, my primary Old West town.

Oh, while on the topic, how about any 15 mm keel boats or flat boats to decorate the river? And, yes, for those of you about to suggest it, I know about the scratch building option but I'm looking for commercial models – hopefully. I already have over 100 buildings in the scratch building stage for this project. Yeah, big project, very big.

You realize that after admitting such a project, you will have to post photos, right?

I think you should take a look at the Lindberg 1/64 scale Southern Belle. I picked up a "used" one at the swap meet about a month ago. Despite the fact that Lindberg claims it as 1/64 scale, it is perfect for 15mm in terms of cabin height, door height, stairs, windows and even the wheelhouse wheel. The cabin doors are 3/4" tall by 3/8" wide. Also the deck boat/lifeboat is compatible with 15mm. It's a good looking little boat… a sternwheeler. Richard
