I'd like to watch the whole thing, but can only find the "trailer" -- I've hear there's a 60-90 min program, anybody know if that's correct? |

Have seen this about a half a dozen times now. It is really creative I love it. I love it even with the faults. On the site there are complaints about the sound but I actually like that particular music and in fact bought it off iTunes. My problems with the piece are that it seems as though the Martians have dropped into the middle of the great war. Too much Barbed wire and trenches and no mans land type terrain. Tommys in both Brodie helmets and peaked caps, using rifles against the walking machines. What are those Germans doing there with the peaked helmets. At position 2.08 there's a strange picture of Mark IV tank on a pedestal getting shot by a biplane.what is that? At the end there are interesting scenes of what seems to be soldiers escorting prisoner walking machines into a laboratory. Need more information on that. Good shots of British in early gas masks, the hood type, and later gas masks too but no black fog. In the first two minute there is a scene of some mechanical beetle like creatures walking along, not in the book but I'm clever idea. I'm not sure I would want to see a much longer version, this was pretty good as it was, what more would you need.?, |
