I have several 1/144 USN aircraft, models for which I have air group decals for the Essex, Bunker Hill, and Randolph, What I need now are numbers for the aircraft. What was the font most commonly used by the USN in WWII. Or better yet does anyone know of a source for decals of this type, Many thanks and salut y'all! Bruce the Texas Grognard |

Numbers were painted on by stencil. The photos on this website might help with finding something that looks right: navypilotoverseas.wordpress.com Hope that helps, Mike |
