Just come across a new KS, this one from Troll Outpost Fantasy Miniatures, some rather nice looking 32mm miniatures. link There are some Dwarves, Orcs, Trolls, Ghouls, Elves, an Undead Lord on horse, and some Hellborn figures. |

Shipping fees have just been announced by the creators of the project. They are, and I will quote this: "Shipping: Shipping will be always done from the casters basement, Germany, so we can get the miniatures ready and ship them out. The shipping cost will be ALWAYS 4£ for orders up to 50£ and ALWAYS 5£ for orders from 51£ to the infinite!" These are not bad shipping rates IMO. Oh and the link to the kickstarter is: link {Hope the link works this time. :) } |

I have just cancelled my pledge for this kickstarter. I questioned the creators of the project about reward levels which they decided not to reply to, and on top of that I can confirm (what others have said on another forum) that at least some of these models are already for sale on eBay.com. |

"Our main goal with this project is to gather enough funds to go ahead on production and also developing our own tabletop skirmish game , where this miniatures will become powerfull heroes ,terrible monsters ,spellcasters or well trained troops to be lead to battle." That blurb is on the front page of the Kickstarter. I find it odd since there is no rulebook or rule development pledge level. Also I have learned to stay far, far away from game startups that attempt to produce both miniatures AND rules in parallel. Invariably the developers' passion tends to be focused on either miniatures OR rules, not both, leaving the neglected option to suffer as a sub-par product. |
