A huge game with thousands of 28mm Napoleonic figures last night. Lots of wild swings of luck on both sides, and many small metal widows mourn the dead…

Looks like fun, what rules are you using?

We use a home-grown set of rules that are designed for fast play. We tinker a bit after each session, but the goal is fun, not historical precision.

Nice looking games room and a BIG table.
Our group has a member with an 18' table.
Wow impressive collection of figures as well. Nice paintwork.
Please post how it all turns out.

Go big or go home, that's how I like em.

How wide is that table? Six feet? And the length? That is just fantastic.

Bonjour,

Greetings from the centre of France.

Wonderful looking game and a wonderful size table.

6 foot wide is tricky to reach across into but it's doable, particularly if you avoid having a focus of action in the centre of the table.

A 24 or 18 foot table would be marvellous but you need a fair number of players!

Here in my part of the Auvergne there are only 2 players so a 12x6 table is fine and I've got 2 of those so that I can have two battles set up at the same time.

A Bientot,

Paul

Having players who do not quibble about every last measurement and interpretation of the rules helps speed things up immeasurably!

We played the conclusion of the game last night. Sadly, my efforts to defend my position proved hopeless, and I let down the side. Another Triumph for the Corsican.
