Been working on some new tile designs, here is the a preview tile, I haven't settled on all the details yet though. If you have any comments about them, I'd love to hear them.

Once I am happy with the basic set, I'll be making the files available for purchase. I am curious to how people feel about a small kickstarter to not only ensure that I can afford all the licenses but also give me the opportunity to make other sets at the same time.

I really like the hand-drawn style which manages to show a fair amount of detail in something as boring as grey rocks. What I don't like are the straight walls which cut off the rocks they are built of. If the wall surface would roughly follow the rocks's shapes, I think it would much better. As of now, it looks like someone tightly packed a bunch of stones together and then used a huge plasma cutter or granite buzzsaw to cut straight through it, resulting in exact lines which I don't think were the norm or even possible in a fantasy dungeon ;)

The straightness (?) of the lines becoems even more pronounced by the rather strong shadows at the edges and corners.

I really like the style.

I am 100% with Cherno on this. They look great, but you need to do something about the wall edges.

Actually the walls are intended to be removed and attached on a higher level. I have messed with using other textures, but oddly felt the random stone worked the best.

Below is one of the earlier prototypes that had some graphics I couldn't use, but still gives you an idea on how the walls should look.

In that case, it looks ok =)

They work really well – particularly with the chiba-style minis. I don't think the alternating colour squares work on some of the tiles – makes them look confused or poorly laid out.

All in all, quite good. Well done.

This is the full basic set, it consists of 17 printed pages. You can see how the the tiles assemble in the last picture. I can store all the base tiles in a plastic bag, though I'd recommend one of those plastic shoe box things.

Backed your kickstarter to hopefully help you keep the creativity flowing
