Has anybody compiled an index to the Black Powder rules? The table of contents, re-arranged, would be a nice start. |

I haven't seen one and it is a shame the book doesn't have one. Warmaster did which was one of the things that I thought was great about the game, in addition to it being a great game straight up. |

Roll a d6, 4+ it goes your way..tally-ho! What is a good wargame, without some conflict in interpretation now n then? |

Lack of a proper index, or even decent chapter descriptions, seems to be an issue with many of the fancy rule sets. It obviously saves a bit if money for the publishers, but it can be a pain. |

It's not so much about conflict in interpretation, as where to find the bloody rule about X in the first place! |

There's no excuse for not including an index in a set of rules when you can do it so easily with modern word processing software. |

I never could find the "Warband" rule when a game was going on. I knew it must be in there somewhere. … |

I contacted WG about getting an electronic copy of the BP table of contents page, for use in initialising a D-I-Y index. They replied to the effect that my inquiry would be passed on, but two weeks have already elapsed with no further news… Not having an index makes it difficult to introduce new players to Black Powder… |

you must understand that BP is a toolbox, just a toolbox so your own work in this is appreciated ! |

Well, following-up about their non-response prompted them to close the ticket, with the suggestion of contacting Paul [Sawyer] on Facebook or through their forum!? |
