These would be good for a U-Boat/Lost World pulp game. |

I'll think they'll sell very well – bags of character. I don't normally like the look of 28mm but these are a great idea well executed. Agree on the 'Pulp' use – I half remember a film with a U-boat off somewhere running into something horrific…or maybe I'm just getting Murphy's War and a Call of Cthulhu plot mixed up.. |

This is a very nice looking set. Given the changeable head option it would be possible to make lots of Naval groups from this. I assume the PanzerFaust can be cut off. Some submariners come ashore in Southern England for some supplies and are met by dad's Army. Perhaps a freighter is captured in the South Atlantic and the freighter crew takes over the sub, and they end up in a land that Time forgot in 1940. overlooking the MP – 40, I can see these guys in my VBC W collection. |

Commando actions in the Aegean islands. Schnellboot crew. |

We are currently playing Savage Worlds pulp, set in the late '30s. These figures would be perfect for our campaign, moreso than the regular Heer figures I've collected so far for the game. Going to look at investing! Anyone know how well Bolt Action figures mix with Crusader or Artizan? People come in different sizes, true, but it shouldn't be too off… Damon. |

There was a stranded WWII German U-Boat crew in this 2009 re-make of "The Land That Time Forgot" taken from a novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs.
link The 1975 film version, featuring Doug McClure, included the crew of a Great War German submarine. |
