I took a chance and placed an order for some ACW naval ships, rules, and scenario booklets from Titan. I saw took a chance because I never received any reply to emails I had sent to them about their status, and they have a very cludgy website that led me to believe that maybe they were no longer selling their products. Since I ordered using PayPal, I knew I could dispute the transaction if they did not deliver the goods. I placed my order on September 22nd, and received the product on either the 25th or 26th (I was out of town for the World War I Dawn Patrol show at the National Museum of the United States Air Force), which means they only took four or five days to get my order to me. Needless to say, they are very much alive, and the ships and printed materials are solid efforts. I would give them a rating of great, except they did not respond to my previous inquiries. So let's call it a good transaction overall. titanmmp.com |

I've got some of these that I picked up at Cold Wars / Fall In a few years back. Good gaming models – comes with the base cast on the models. The batteries are nice too. |

I had purchased some riverine vessels before (Cairo class, gunboats, Arkansas, etc.), and this time I grabbed the three James River ironclads, along with three scenario booklets which come with a concise overview, a basic scenario, and the ship logs for all the vessels engaged. I also picked up their rules…gunnery is "interesting". Still rolling a die for each gun, but seemingly the arcs are more restrictive, but there are also a slew of firing mods. |
