We played out the final game of our summer SBH campaign a bit over a week ago. 4 warbands battled each other and the city guard of Vildeburg, trying to get into the castle keep to escape the hordes of undead sweeping over the city.
It was actually two games at once that combined into a final battle between the winners. It was a great end to the campaign with the winner of the final battle also being the club member (playing a band of Tharks!) with the most wins over the course of the 6 session (about 10 games long) campaign. Also notable, we were joined by a guest who had never played SBH before, but was able to quickly pick up the game and play the city guard with his nicely painted WHFB empire figs.

As always, the full writeup and more pics are on the blog.

Silly me – I thought the title of the thread was "The Fall of Vicksburg".

I didn't see your "chart" mentioned in the text of one of the reports. Can you point me in the right direction? I want to do a Song of Arthur and Merlin campaign and I think I could model it after your efforts.

Really good stuff.

Do you mean the table we rolled on to determine scenarios and locations? It was something we made for last year's campaign and used again this year. you can get it here:

It also has a map of the territory where we played. I believe some sort of free online program was used to make it. There was no mechanic for conquering territory, The map just provided the narrative settings and somewhat guided the type of battlefields we setup.

A few of the scenarios mentioned in the document there are stock from Ganesha. The rest are pulled from the document that Hour 11 Gamer made converting every single Mordheim and Warhammer skirmish scenario to SBH. It's probably the best SBH fan document ever and can be found here:
