It appears this game was run back in 2012, in the UK, using 1/600th scale aircraft, but it is definitely still worth looking at, if you are interested in inspiration for gaming the RAF night bombing raids during WWII: link You'll have to scroll down a bit, to see the images, but they are worth the effort, since there is a nice depiction of a bomber stream flying over the darkened landscape. There are searchlights, flak, and enemy nightfighters to contend with along the route. Enjoy! |

One of mine from Ancients on the Move – I particularly liked the way they had done the searchlights … We were next door to them for the weekend and the game was very popular … I didn't get to play it as I was busy on the SoA stand but could see it was a well thought out treatment of an important bit of RAF history. Thanks for sharing the ground-level pic. It looks really great, as do the searchlights too. |

That's really neat. I've always wanted to do an RAF Night Mission. Thanks; Joe |

Looks nice, but, no reference as to the rules used. |

Agreed, sadly. Would love to know more about the rules used as well. |
