Did some of the new PSC 15mm plastics for the display today…

Fancied trying something different for these infantry so went for some alternative colour schemes!

wow, seriously impressive. Must pick some up.

I nearly picked up a box of their late War Germans in my local shop, but could see there was some heavy mold lines running over the helmets. Like really heavy. I dunno if this is a common problem with them.

But anyway, they're superbly painted.

Ironwolf25 Sep 2014 6:22 p.m. PST

Wish they'd make Romanian 15mm infantry.

Lion in the Stars25 Sep 2014 6:42 p.m. PST

@Ironwolf: Unlikely. Injection-molded plastic has an enormous initial capital cost, so anything you make needs to sell LOTS to recoup that investment. So Brits, Germans, Americans, Russians, and maybe French and Japanese. Smaller players are very unlikely to have enough sales to make it worth the effort for injection molds.

@Piers: Maybe I should just sacrifice my paints to the devil now, and save myself the embarrassment later.

Will PSC be doing 15mm Early War British or French in the near future?

Martin Rapier26 Sep 2014 3:05 a.m. PST

Nice job Piers. I've ordered a box of these chaps.

Bellbottom26 Sep 2014 3:18 a.m. PST

very nice Piers, any idea when the support weapons are due?

PiersBrand26 Sep 2014 4:43 a.m. PST

Jarrovian,

The test prints are all painted up and I submitted the photos for the box art last week… So I suspect the heavy weapons will be out this side of Christmas.

Nick B,

I don't know as yet… But Im hoping there will be something released ready for Battlegroup Blitzkrieg when that comes out at Salute. I have submitted some research material and photos for the early Cruisers to PSC…

Great figures and painting . When you compare these to a lot of 15mm figures they look very good.

Bellbottom26 Sep 2014 8:38 a.m. PST

Thanks Piers, looking forward to early war armour. Any chance we can get sand shields for desert variants etc in the same box?

They certainly do not list those on their "Coming soon" page:
