A rather splendid book I picked up yesterday. Full of ideas for terrain and Pulp adventure settings – link

Great book and marvelously inspiring illustrations. His work really conjures up that epoch of exploration I think this book or something very similar sexists in English as well. I'd also recommend "Amelia Peabody's Egypt" for rich illustrations and inspiration. link
