I have recently been asked to recommend a starters reading guide to The Greek War of Independence, whilst this has been covered before and everyone has their favourites, if you are embarking on the GWI and want a good military history then read vols 1 and 2 of Thomas Gordons History of The Greek Revolution, both vols can be purchased at reasonable cost from Amazon, couple this with St Clairs WHen Greece will be Free which is an excellent read on the European military involvement
